Watch it all;
Golden sunset,
Navy moonrise,
Stars flicker in and out.

Wars stain clouds red,
Poison sickened goldenrod;
Storms green of heaving seas
Cleanse them of these colors
But temporarily.

Blood-stained snow
Cries ruby tears
Come spring melt,
Remembering.
Did we forget?

Wind, earth, and rain
Heal what fire burns,
But slowly,
That all may see.
